Dear Parent/Guardian/Independent Student,
Every year, at the beginning of the year, we notify you of the online applications we use as a division. In addition, this year, your child's teacher or school wants to use Code .ORG.
Code.org helps solve a clear problem: many students don’t get the chance to learn computer science in school. It provides a free, high‑quality, flexible curriculum that teaches core computer science through engaging activities, and lets students build real things like websites, apps, animations, games, and physical computing systems—learning experiences you can’t create with pen and paper alone. Designed to work for different learning styles and pacing, Code.org brings computer science to more classrooms and expands participation, including among students who are traditionally underrepresented.
