Dear Parent/Guardian/Independent Student,
Every year, at the beginning of the year, we notify you of the online applications we use as a division. In addition, this year, your child's teacher or school wants to use We Will Write.
We Will Write helps students who struggle with confidence and engagement in writing by turning practice into short, interactive challenges with instant, strengths‑based feedback. Students write often without the discouraging “red pen,” and an anonymous, safe space gives everyone a fair chance to take risks, try new ideas, and focus on learning rather than status. The light element of competition makes writing feel like a shared adventure, while the discovery‑based approach builds a growth mindset so students see what works, grow their skills, and want to keep going. Compared to pen and paper, We Will Write uniquely offers immediate feedback, frequent low‑stakes practice, and inclusive participation that helps students enjoy writing and steadily improve.
