Dear Parent/Guardian/Independent Student,
Every year, at the beginning of the year, we notify you of the online applications we use as a division. In addition, this year, your child's teacher or school wants to use Gimkit.
Gimkit is designed to solve a common classroom challenge: keeping students engaged while they practice and master content. Students answer questions on their own devices at their own pace, and see the same questions multiple times to reinforce learning and ensure mastery. Game elements—earning in‑game money and choosing upgrades and powerups—make review feel like play, motivating students in ways traditional pen‑and‑paper drills often can’t. KitCollab lets students write the questions themselves, turning practice into an active, creative experience that deepens understanding. Teachers can host live games or assign asynchronous practice, giving students repeated, memorable learning experiences that are both fun and effective.
