Dear Parent/Guardian/Independent Student,
Every year, at the beginning of the year, we notify you of the online applications we use as a division. In addition, this year, your child's teacher or school wants to use Learning A-Z.
Learning A-Z addresses the challenge of providing high-quality, standards-aligned reading instruction and practice for diverse learners by combining teacher-led lessons with online resources. Its research-based PreK–6 programs blend technology with instruction to make teaching more effective, practice more personalized, and learning more informed. Programs like Raz-Plus offer over 50,000 standards-aligned resources—diverse texts, interactive lessons, and assessments—that integrate with core instruction, helping teachers equitably engage all students and deliver targeted, effective literacy instruction without the stress of searching. For English learners, materials build speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and academic vocabulary through reading and listening across many genres, discussing readings, and answering questions. Compared with pen-and-paper alone, this digital library and interactive activities make it easier to personalize practice and support comprehension, inspiring curiosity and the joy of learning.
